Consultation & Bidding
We will meet with you at your home or business and
to go over the painting work you want done. At this
point, we answer any questions or address any concerns
you may have about your project. We then follow up
with a written proposal laying out the painting process
from start to finish, with an exact job cost.
When we meet with you to discuss your painting/refinishing
needs, we also look very closely at baseboards, trims,
casings and all areas surrounding the work to be done.
In order for us to deliver the high quality work you
expect, we ensure that any repairs and prep work are
complete before we apply the final coat of paint.
Our
consultation includes discussing not just the color
but the type of paint to be used for the project (flat,
sheen, semi-gloss, gloss) and type of surface (smooth,
textured, stucco, wood). Our knowledge of color and
materials will help you decide the best paint for
your home/office.
We
will inform you on all the steps in the process and
meet all deadlines.
Scheduling
One of the first things we ask about are your scheduling
needs. We want to make sure that we can accommodate
you on this. When a signed proposal is received, the
job is put onto our schedule. We tell you the approximate
start date and then keep you updated.
Starting
At the beginning of the job, we will go over the project
specifications once again to make sure that everyone
is in agreement. If necessary, modifications will
be made.
Performing
All painting work is done in proper sequence and in
accordance with paint manufacturers specifications.
Surface preparation, i.e., washing, scraping, sanding,
etc., is done first, followed by priming and painting.
Completion
We will let you know a day or so before we expect
to complete the work. This gives you an opportunity
to inspect the work to ensure that nothing got missed.
Painters then wrap up the job and take care of any
touch-ups to your full satisfaction.
